The Parramatta Diocese is after any U11 or U12 Division 1 (or equivalent) Catholic School Students to join them for the NSW Primary Schools Sport Association (PSSA) Rugby League Trials.
They MUST be enrolled at a Parramatta Diocesan school. Any coach or parent who believes a player has the ability to make this rep team, should encourage them to see their school sports coordinator or Assistant Principal to access the required form. The NSW PSSA Rugby League Trials for Catholic School Students enrolled in the Diocese of Parramatta will be held at Patrician Brothers Blacktown on the following dates/times: Under 11's March 4th 4:00pm-5:30pm Open's March 6th March 4:00pm-5:30pm This is REPRESENTATIVE football for Primary School students. The progression for students is as follows: * Parramatta Diocesan Trials (Patrician Brothers Blacktown – March). One team for the 11's and Opens is selected to represent the Parramatta Diocese. * Mackillop Trials (Canberra – May). Sydney, Parramatta, Canberra/Goulburn, Wollongong & Wagga Catholic Diocesan teams trial for one Mackillop Team – 11's and Opens teams). * NSW PSSA Trials (June/July). Ten State Public Schools teams and two Catholic School teams play over the course of one week to select a squad of 40 boys for a Narrabeen sport and rec camp. From here 20 boys are selected for the NSW PSSA Team (Open's team only). * The NSW PSSA Open's team then plays other state teams. Venue TBA (may be interstate).
