The Emu Plains JRLFC community is showing its strength as they come together to support the Harrison family. On Saturday afternoon, Lisa Morris organised a meat raffle and her girls Tanaya and Shantel sold tickets, while on Sunday afternoon the senior sides raised money at their team BBQ thanks to Shrek and Angela by passing the hat around and running a raffle. The FEGs (our old boys' club) have also made a donation to the wake at Emu Sports Club.
This Sunday we will be running a raffle during each game at Leonay Oval (five in total). Thanks to the crew from You Can Dance (where Glen's daughter Bethany dances) who will be walking around the grounds selling the tickets. On Sunday evening at the Senior Presentation at Emu Sports Club we will be auctioning a framed 2013 Panthers jersey. Dave Patullo-Harrison (Glen's brother) organised for the jersey to be signed by Penrith players. A big thank you goes out to our sponsor ProFrame who have framed the jersey free of charge. Thanks must also go out to the countless people from the Emu Plains JRLFC community who have directly helped out the Harrison family in this difficult time. You know who you are and what you've done. All money raised by the club will go towards Glen's wake and be donated to the Harrison family to help support them at this difficult time. Thank you to you all.
